Full Time Residency

These run weekly during term time and school hours.  They are based on a variety of themes (that can have cross-curricular links), and are sessions that involve giving an introduction to contemporary dance, and its different styles, together with the demands of life as a dancer.  Techniques including Hip Hop and Street are introduced too.  Mostly, the children/youngsters will be given the freedom to create their own movements and dances, using their amazing imaginations.

If you are looking for drama and singing, then again, the same approach is taken as above.  Lots of different themes and songs.  If you wish, you can combine:

  • dance, drama and singing

  • dance and singing

  • singing

Or maybe you'd like to offer some Zumba sessions - "All we need is a beat"

Workshops are booked per term.  They are developed week by week with the aim of having an informal Workshop Presentation at the end of the term as an indication of success.  This is where pupils, staff and parents/guardians are invited to watch what the dancers, actors and/or singers have been working on throughout the term.

For residencies booked for an academic year, we aim to give the pupils an opportunity of performing at a professional theatre.

Collaborations (for full time residencies only)

These take place once workshops are under way and are where one school’s pupils visit another and participate in a workshop together.   They are aimed to give the participants the experience of working with others whom they have not met, as well as the sharing/teaching of work.

Transport must be arranged by the schools involved.
